B.O.L.D Afterschool Program
B.O.L.D. is a new after-school program available to students attending S.P. Livingston Elementary and Eugene Butler Middle School in Jacksonville. The program is one of the key initiatives of the New Town Success Zone.
B.O.L.D. which stands for Building Our Limitless Dreams, is a project partnership between Boys and Girls Club of Northeast Florida, War on Poverty-Florida, and Jacksonville Housing Authority to offer after-school homework assistance and enrichment activities for students; as well as service coordination, money management education and advocacy training for parents. This highly impactful program is designed to make a difference in the lives of students and their families.

Enrichment activities for students include:
- Nutrition Education
- Financial Education
- Career Development
Training activities and programs for parents have been successful. Several families participated in the January Family Fun Night, February FCAT Rally and Soul Food Remix events.
KidsWealth, a financial literacy program was introduced in February 2010, parents and students are challenged in activities involving categorizing their money for saving and spending.
